Bernadette of Lourdes
Based on a true story, this French drama follows Bernadette Soubirous (Danièle Ajoret), a poor young woman who claims to see visions of a woman in white whom she believes to be the Virgin Mary.
Though some scoff at Bernadette's claims, she begins to gain a following, and the spot in the town of Lourdes where her visions have been seen reportedly starts to yield miraculous cures. Going on to become a nun, Bernadette is later canonized as a Catholic saint.
