Imperfect Women stars Joel Kinnaman and Corey Stoll sat down with us to discuss their experience working on a female-led set.
The Apple TV miniseries is a psychological thriller that follows three best friends — played by Elisabeth Moss, Kate Mara, and Kerry Washington — whose decade-long friendship is shattered during a mysterious murder investigation.
Joel, who plays Kate Mara’s wealthy husband Robert, shared that the cast was given the full script prior to filming, explaining why he believes it’s beneficial for actors to know the full story in advance. Corey Stoll, who plays Elisabeth Moss's husband Howard, spoke about getting into character and what it was like to have his character show up later in the series than the rest of the cast.
The pair also joked about the casting of Keith Carradine as Joel’s father, with Joel noting that Keith looks more like him than his real father does.
