John Krasinski has joked he had to ''bulk up'' in the gym to keep his wife Emily Blunt happy. The 36-year-old American actor tied the knot with the 32-year-old actress in July 2010 after a two-year romance and he readily admits he's a lucky guy to be married to such a beautiful Brit.
John claims the reason he accepted a role as a US Navy SEAL in new war movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi was to get in shape to keep Emily interested in him.
During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, he quipped: ''Yes I married Emily - I know what you're thinking, 'What?! That guy got her?' It's true, it's true. Why do you think I bulked up? I had to earn it!''
John also spoke about the couple's 23-year-old month daughter Hazel and revealed she has picked up her mother's British accent.
The former Office star said: ''We have an amazing daughter named Hazel and she definitely is picking up on her mom's accent which I think is adorable especially at Christmas - the whole Santa, Father Christmas thing like blew her mind ... She has a British accent for some things.''
Although John has been hitting the gym very hard in recent months - losing 21 percent of his body fat for 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi - Emily preferred him ''doughy."
Speaking about his new torso, he previously said: ''She hates it. She would way prefer to have doughy guy back.''
This isn't news.
