Melissa McCarthy producing comedy series with husband

Published By Tribute on Sep 07, 2016

Melissa McCarthy and Ben FalconeHusband and wife film duo Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are teaming up together to develop a half-hour single-camera family comedy with Fox.

The untitled comedy's plot follows "an unconventional family" that is formed "when a successful type-A man and his estranged sister, plus her two children, find themselves not only back in each other’s lives but also living under one roof."

Melissa and her husband will also work as the executive producers, and they will be working alongside co-executive producers Jim Cashman and Mitch Silpa -- both actors who have already appeared in smaller roles for some of Melissa's films including The Boss, Spy, Bridesmaids, and The Heat.

This project will be the second that Melissa and Ben are developing together. They have already teamed up with Warner Bros. and ordered a comedy pilot called Nobodies that you can also look forward to. ~Natalia Makarski

I think their last collaboration was that terrible movie TAMMY. I can't say my hopes are high for this one.

I don't think these people know what funny is, unless they are just pandering to the dumber audience members to make money and get views.
