Sinners tops the weekend box office for the second time in a rowDespite three new entries breaking into the Top 5 at the weekend box office, Sinners remained in the Number 1 spot.

Sinners starring Michael B. Jordan as twin brothers held onto the top spot at the box office for the second weekend in a row, bringing in an additional $45 million for a two-week total of $122.5 million.

Debuting in second was the re-release of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith for its 20th year anniversary. It took in $25.2 million over the weekend and will be in theaters for one week only.

The Accountant 2 sees Ben Affleck returning as Christian Wolff, who is compelled to solve a murder case. It debuted in third place with $24.5 million. Click here for showtimes.

A Minecraft Movie starring Jason Momoa slipped to fourth place at the weekend box office, adding another $22.7 million for a four-week total of $380 million.

Rounding out the top five was the new horror film Until Dawn, which earned $8 million.
