The sequel The Devil Wears Prada 2 starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, stayed in the first spot in the box office this weekend. The film took in another $43 million for a two-week total of $144.8 million.
Mortal Kombat II starring Karl Urban debuted at second place in the box office this weekend, bringing in $40 million.
In the third spot this weekend was the Michael Jackson biopic Michael, which took in another $36.5 million for a three-week total of $240.5 million.
The Sheep Detectives, a mystery-comedy film starring Hugh Jackman debuted in the fourth spot, taking in a total of $15.9 million.
Rounding out the top five was the tour documentary directed by James Cameron, Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour, which took in $7.5 million in its opening week.
