The psychological thriller Weapons remained in the top spot for the third weekend in a row, taking in an extra $15.6 million for a three-week total of $115.9 million.
Freakier Friday, the body-swap Disney sequel, also held onto its space in second, earning another $9.2 million for a three-week total of $70.5 million.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps rose up to third from fourth this weekend with the film taking in an extra $5.9 million for a five-week total of $257.3 million.
In fourth place was the animated heist sequel The Bad Guys 2, garnering another $5.1 million for a four-week total of $66.2 million.
Rounding out the top five was Nobody 2, the sequel to the 2021 action film starring Bob Odenkirk. It took in an extra $3.7 million for a two-week total of $16.5 million.
