Ella Bruccoleri Biography

Ella Bruccoleri was born to an Italian family in North Yorkshire, England. She trained at the Oxford School of Drama and L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris.

She began her screen career with a small role as a maid in an episode of the TV series Genius in 2018, before gaining wider recognition with a recurring role in Call the Midwife. She went on to appear in British television series including Bridgerton, Passenger, and The British Detective.

Ella made her film debut with Polite Society (2023). She later appeared in the horror film The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024) and its sequels, and in the family feature Paddington in Peru (2024).

In 2026, she appeared in the TV mini-series Agatha Christie's Seven Dials and took on the lead role of Mary Bennet in the Apple TV series The Other Bennet Sister, based on the book of the same name, which was inspired by Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
