Inspired by a real lockdown in Texas, I VOTED transforms Election Day into a blood-soaked horror satire about fear, paranoia, and what happens when people stop seeing one another as human. On a tense Election Day, a group of polarized strangers arrive at a Texas polling place to cast their ballots.
But when the location is suddenly placed under an unexplained lockdown, the doors are secured, no one is allowed to leave and the debate is on. What begins as a routine civic duty descends into a ticking time bomb of a thriller, dark comedy and ultimately visceral horror.
