Well worth seeing and enlightening about what happened in WWII.

A good picture of the volatile personalities involved in running a war and the need for men and women of integrity to make the best decision (despite the pressure to conform)for the freedom of democracy at that moment in history. Acting was superb. Dialogue always gave an insight into the character of the individual.

I never expected a movie about the weather to be so compelling! The actual depiction of D-day was short but very graphic and hard to watch, as it should be. The planning for it and especially the intense emotional aspects of having to stand alone with your convictions was really well portrayed. It's well worth seeing, maybe even a second time!

Intense and riveting, great true story. I'm not a history/war movie or meteorology fan, but this looked interesting enough. So glad we went as it was excellent. We had good discussions about it the rest of the evening.

No qualms about acting, costumes or sets, and the subject matter was interesting to a point (especially if you're a meteorology nerd), but I left the cinema thinking that the film could've been shorter by at least 20 minutes and still told the same story.

One of the best movies of the year. Real stuff. A must see.

I just finished watching the film. A true story and intense.

I went to this movie as I enjoy films about war given the gripping nature of these events. I wasn't sure why it was called Pressure but you realize the double entendre of the title; for the pressure on Eisenhower and secondly on air pressure in relation to the weather. The film showed a side of war that likely no one considers. Well done, unexpected and a great show.

A great flic. The script is excellent and the acting spot on by all leads perhaps a little over the top in just a couple spots (too many takes?) . Kerry Condon's and Con O'Neill's characters although a smaller roles were outstanding!

The movie drew me to check out a piece of history that has been sketchy. It's a small holiday that breezes by. This movie makes it real. I know parts are fictional but it's more than it was. I never expected to see how important weather prediction was to the decision to go to battle. I never expected to see that a strong woman was the support behind the decision makers. The elements of the movie - set, acting, music, writing - were all excellent. And a unusual sight for a serious film was a very full and responsive audience. Bravo.

Bring Tissues! Hard to watch if you lost anyone in the Military. Acting was very good by all. Film well done felt authentic.

The entire cast did a phenomenal job and the script is written excellently. When the movie ended it felt like I had just sat down. Who knew a movie about a weather report would be this gripping.

User review rating: 5 May 30, 2026

The story was gripping and kept me engaged to the end. The acting was really good, especially by Brendan Fraser as IKE (who would have thought?, but he nailed it). This is about an underappreciated element in the Allies D-Day invasion, the weather.

Great move. Learned things I never knew about D-Day. Go see it. It's wonderful

As someone who eschews war movies, and that I only chose it to see Andrew Scott who is fire in everything he does, and that I had no idea it was a war movie, every aspect of this movie was brilliant: writing, director, cast, crew, DOP, music. I expect to see Pressure on the Oscar list. Highly recommended.
